Ev-portal.net represented at two battery conferences
Ev-portal.net, the expert portal for electric mobility, has already presented its own technical papers at two international battery conferences this year.
At this year’s Advanced Automotive Battery Conference Europe (AABC Europe) in Mainz, Christian Scheidler delivered an overview presentation on electric mobility in the air. The key message: Unlike the automotive sector, aviation is not solely about the electrification of the powertrain. Advances in battery technology are enabling entirely new aircraft concepts, which in turn open up new fields of application and business opportunities.
NASA has coined the term Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) to describe this development. During his presentation, Christian Scheidler introduced the various concepts and designs of AAM aircraft currently being developed by numerous startups worldwide.

At the Advanced Battery Power conference in Münster, ev-portal.net was represented with a specialized poster offering a manufacturer-neutral overview of more than 30 startups working on innovations in the field of lithium-ion batteries.
The focus was particularly on silicon-enriched anodes and solid-state batteries, which are considered promising approaches for further increasing energy density, charging speed, and safety.
